I would like to announce plans for the 11th Annual Pete Schwab
Memorial Fastpitch Tournament which will be held July 13-15th in Frankenmuth's Heritage Park.
Last year, 16 teams teams competed for the championship with Stock Pack
(Ashland, Ohio) defeating the Indians (Alvinston, Ontario) in the A bracket finals.

This year's tournament format will be similar to year's past. All
teams will play 3 games in round robin play and advance to a single
elimination playoff bracket starting on Sunday morning.

Dates: July 13-15, 2012

Entry Fee: $375 USD
Format: 3-game round robin
Playoffs: Top 2 teams from each bracket advance to single elimination A Playoff
3rd place team advances to B Playoff
4th place team advances to C Playoff

I suggest reserving early as rooms fill up quickly in Frankenmuth
during the summer.

This year, we will welcome back a number of top teams including Stock Pack and
Alvinston. In addition, we are pleased to welcome the USA Softball
Jr. Men's National Team to Frankenmuth. The USA Softball Jr. Men's
team will be conducting a camp in Midland the week of July 16th in
preparation for the 2012 ISF Jr. Men's World Championship in October
(Parana, Argentina). In conjunction with their training in Midland
and their visit to mid-Michigan, they will compete in the Pete Schwab
tournament along with other events to be announced separately.
