Coldwater Early Bird 2010





April 19th Update-

See the link below for the schedule for the 2010 Coldwater Early Bird Tournament.  Seven teams will participate in this year's tournament.  The format has been changed to make the tournament a 3-game guarantee.  There will be two pools with each team playing 2 games in pool play. The teams will then be seeded into a single elimination bracket.  The first game of the tournament is scheduled for 6:30pm Friday, April 30th at Waterworks Park in Coldwater.  The Championship game will be held at 2:15pm on Sunday, May 2nd.  





The Coldwater Softball Association will once again be hosting the annual Early Bird Tournament at the beginning of the fast pitch season. The dates for this years tournament will be April 30- May 2. This will be a double elimination tournament using ASA rules. Games will start Friday night. The championship game will be scheduled for early Sunday afternoon.  All games will be played at Ed Deal Field at Waterworks Park in Coldwater.


Sponsor and individual trophies will be awarded to the 1st place team and a sponsor trophy will be awarded to the 2nd place team.  There will also be an award for the Most Valuable Hitter and Most Valuable Pitcher.  There is a concession stand at the park with food and drinks available.  The entry fee will be $225.  This tournament is run as a fundraiser for the Coldwater Softball Association.
