If you have questions about the appeal process, please send an email to Scott Kelly who will get the information to the 15 member committee that oversees MASA Pitcher Classification issues. Team classification guidelines still are in effect where teams that finish 1st or 2nd in MASA Fast Pitch state finals in class C, D or E or place in the top 4 of an ASA national tournament, they must move up a class the next year of competition. If 5 or more players from a move-up roster play together the following season of competition, they are also considered an automatic move-up to that next class as well.
Scott Kelly is the Chair Person for the MASA Men's Fast Pitch Classification Committee. There are 15 people on this classification committee including players, commissioners, umpires, and managers from locations throughout the state of Michigan.
